- This is the 1st CPE Seminar of the year. The Chapter has removed the ceiling for the number of very sure confirmations to allow members to meet their CPE point requirements.
- Instead the Chapter is limiting food served to the first 80 pax attendees to arrive at the venue.
- As previous, if you are 100% sure of attending please text (to 09185622501) or email (to uapmakati2012@gmail.com) ”very sure” with your confirmation together with your full name and PRC Number.

Pecha Kucha (Japanese: ペチャクチャ, IPA: [pet͡ɕa ku͍̥t͡ɕa],[1] chit-chat) is a presentation methodology in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each, usually seen in a multiple-speaker event called a Pecha Kucha Night. Pecha Kucha Night events consist of around a dozen presentations, each presenter having 20 slides, each shown for 20 seconds on a timer. Thus, each presenter has just 6 minutes and 40 seconds to explain their ideas before the next takes the stage. Conceived as a venue through which young designers could meet, show their work, exchange ideas, and network, the format keeps presentations concise and fast-paced.

Information Dissemination on Singapore Archifest ‘11

Re : Information Dissemination on Singapore Archifest ‘11
Our co-member in the Architects Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) will be holding its Archifest ’11. Now on its 5th year, the Archifest ’11 strives to promote the importance of architecture and urban design, which are playing an increasingly important role in the global competition among cities.
In view of this, the SIA President Ar. Ashvinkumar is inviting the UAP to participate in the Singapore Archifest ’11 which will be held from October 3-20, 2011 by sending our members’ best works for the exhibition.
For submission,
please send, in softcopy, 1 A1 size landscape board layout (in jpg) for each project (Total: 6 A1 landscape board layouts)
include project name, architect name, firm name and contact in the board.
A special email account and server have been provided by SIA secretariat, hence, you may contact the Office of the UAP Secretary General to facilitate the transmission of your works. Deadline for submission in on August 10, 2011.
